Mass Effect 3 "Extended Cut"

June 26, 2012. That is the date that Bioware has set for the "Extended Cut" DL for mass effect 3. The DLC will be free and be available to download on Tuesday, June 26.

Today's official announcement says that the download "provides more of the answers and closure that players have been asking for... gives a sense of what the future holds as a result of the decisions made throughout the series [and] shows greater detail in the successes or failures based on how players achieved their endings."

After downloading the 1.9GB "Extended Cut" file to their PC, PS3, or Xbox 360, players will be able to load a save just before the end of the game to play through the new content. Bioware says that decisions made throughout the series will affect the way the Extended Cut content plays out, and that multiple playthroughs will be needed to "experience the variety of possibilities offered by the new content."

Minecraft 1.3 coming soon!

We all know that minecraft has come a long way ever since The Cave Game and InDev. But is the newest update of 1.2.5 enough? I think not, very soon the developers of Minecraft will be releasing minecraft 1.3 which will have tons and tons of new great updates.

Lets start with some new blocks
Some items

We will see things in 1.3 that we may have not ever thought of coming to minecraft.

  • Trip Wires - a completely new concept in minecraft, using strings and Trip Wire Hooks on blocks to create trip wires that can activate redstone or something else.
  • Dispenser Features -  they will be able to eject lava and water from source blocks if there is an empty bucket inside.
  • Redstone will be able to be placed vertically on blocks and stairs.
The new minecraft 1.3 release will not just be great, but will be simply amazing. The new singleplayer will be allowed cheats as if it were a server. It will be a server, not a running server that people connect to, but rather a localhost server. So there will be commands available without any type of "mods" to be added.

Some may have used TooManyItems before, and this might all change. Because in Minecraft 1.3 there will be a brand new interface for creative gamemode. The creative gamemode interface will allow you to search for items, and you can access the normal inventory as if you were in survival.

While this is not even 1/4 of the new things coming to 1.3 you can find more features of the upcoming release at www.minecraft.com or go to this minecraft wiki post about the upcoming features.
